Cherry Jewelery Box

These two jewelery boxes were made of Cherry wood with walnut used to make a spline joint in the corners. Walnut was also used for the lid, dividers and feet. As you can see, the lid is a framed piece of glass, which was delicate to work with but came out looking gorgeous. . Finally, one of the boxes has a cove cut into the sides creating a curved edge, creating a more elegant appearance. I want to acknowledge my colleague Dan Osleeb for his keen eye and advice on this project.
