Metal End Table

This piece was inspired by a pile of metal pipes shoved into a corner. the vertical members are pieces of 1/2” diameter solid metal bars. The lid is made from 18 gauge sheet metal. I CNC’ed a circle from wood and then used a plasma cutter to cut the circle from the metal sheet. Then I cold bent a piece of flat steel to the shape of the circle and welded everything in placed. I finished it with a lot of grinding, sanding and covered it all in a wax to help keep it shiny.
