Yale Locker

At Yale School of Drama, in the Technical Design and Production Program, the first semester culminates in the production of a locker. There is a basic design for the outside dimensions of the project, but each students is allowed to create their own flair for their personal locker. Mine is made of a walnut door with bread board ends and square pegs. There is also a drawer made of pine with finger joints and a walnut face. The framing of the locker is made of pine plywood. The walnut portions are treated with Dark Danish Wood Oil and the pine is treated with a water based polyurethane.
