Technical Director, The Surflight Theatre 2014

South Pacific, designed by Stephen Cowels, was a part of my second season as Technical Director at The Surflight Theatre. The elements of this show that I enjoyed working on were the proscenium arches with their bamboo edging and the ‘washing machine windmill’ that actually rotated on a crank. There was also the challenge of having an operating shower while doing our best to keep the stage dry.
